Leaving Milopotamos past the junction that leads to the cave of Agia Sophia, after a beautiful ride with a view to the Ionian Sea, you will end up at the beach of Limnionas. Directly opposite the beach are the Panaghia islands, two small islets in front of Limnionas bay and just below the Monastery of Panaghia Mirtidiotissa, which they were named after!
In Limnionas you can see the traditional houses used by fishermen for shelter. You can also taste the delicacies of Mr. Nickos right on the beach! North of Limnionas lies a sea cave called Fokospilia (seal cave) because of the seals that live there.
