Looking at the sea from the village of Agia Pelagia, you’ll see several beaches on your right; one of them is the beach of Lorentzos. Located between Firi Ammos and Kakia Lagada, it is one of the largest beaches on the island, with crystal clear water, sand and pebbles. From there, you can see Kavo Malias (Cape Maleas) in the Peloponnese before you and the rocks of “Kakia Lagada” gorge behind you, from where pirate Hayreddin Barbarossa invaded the town that was above the gorge in 1537.
