Down the road from Milopotamos to Kalami beach lies the church of Panaghia Orfani, yet another church built mostly inside a cave. The landscape surrounding it is lush, with running waters from the stream starting at the waterfall and reaching Kalami. The cave locating the church is 8m long and 7m wide. It was there that the holy icon of Panaghia Eleousa-also called “orphan”- was found. The icon is decorated with silver lining, same as the big icon of Panaghia Eleousa Orfani, created by Nikolaos Spithakis.
