It is the largest village on the island. If you find yourselves in Kythera during winter, you might not meet a single person around the island. Once you reach the square of Potamos though, the scene will be different as it never gets quiet there. Every Sunday there is a flea market and you’ll be lucky to find a table to sit and drink coffee! In Potamos you will definitely overhear political conversations and rejoice with the beautiful faces wandering around. Many shops, cafes, restaurants and offices make up this nodal point for the residents of northern regions.
